This past week, I headed to KVCC with my boyfriend to watch my cousin play basketball. When we got there, I got out and headed to his side of the truck. I leaned my arm on his arm rest while he got out to get his stuff from the back seat. I ended up hitting the lock button without even realizing it. He closed the back door so I closed his front door. He tried opening it and it wouldn't open. He said, "Babe, my keys are in there..". And even worse, he didn't have his spare. We headed inside and my mom came up with the idea of driving to Portland (where he lives) to get his spare. I thought "an hour and a half drive?" But it ended up being a really fun car ride. Laughing, smiling, not even being mad about the whole situation. Finding the positive in the negative made the experience worth remembering.
